Hey all....well, currently I have:

MSI K7TPro2A MB
T-Bird 900MHz @ 1.1Ghz (USING 10X multiplier and 110 FSB)
128MB PC133 CAS 2 Memory
15GB 7200rpm ATA100 HD
Hercules Geforce2 Pro (64MB)

Will replacing my MB with the MSI K7T Turbo (or any other motherboard that has the KT133A chipset) make a "real world" difference for me?

I basically use my rig for games (Counter-Strike, Q3, etc), and some ripping/watching movies/surfin'.

I was wondering if that 133 FSB is really worth it...

Yeah, maybe you can spend the extra money to get a new video card or something, but swaping from KT133 to KT133A won't make such an diference...

New video card??!!! :Q I just bought the Hercules Geforce 2 PRO a month ago! :)

Thanks for the input though...I'm going to wait for something else to come around.

Sounds like it won't be worth the money...oh well...wife will be happy I don't buy more

"Computer Junk" as she puts it.

Thanks again!

You won't get much of a performance increase. KT133A is more for people just buying SocketA, or total performance freaks who kill to get a 5% increase.

I have two of the KT133 and one KT133A motherboard. Save your money. The KT133A is not worth it. Minimal performance improvement.
