I wonder... who's been maintaining the server running the site?! Looks like they had a "strong" run for under a year and a half... I seriously made a website that looked just like that in my webdesign class back in highschool, but that was in 1997...
 
Reminds me of my Dad's old companies website. He paid someone like a grand to do a bunch of graphic design, which basically consisted of some logo's with solar flares.

At the time we were like "OMG SO COOL"... Looking back, wow.
 
BBS (Bulletin Board System)
A computer which provides file archives, email, and announcements of interest. Users usually dial in with a terminal program to access these.
 
wow, i remember having a website that looked very similar to this - at least using the same .gifs and clip art

I always wondered how they made the spinning gifs back in the day. No its easy with the software available but .....no clue what they did then.
