I can't believe I've finally gotten one! With such a nice display, I could stare (sp?) at the ATOT page forever and never get any eye strain!!!!!!! Now I have no limit on how much I can post - you better watch out NFS4, I'm coming to get j00!!!!!

Alright, back to reality. I'm happy I don't have to look at a crappy CRT anymore 😀

Punk! I paid $60, and that was when they first came out (I think they retailed for like $290). I have to say that I love them 😀

But how is it for games? That's about the only thing besides the fat sticker price that has me waiting.

In any case, I'm jealous. I want a new flat panel because my 19" Trinitron CRT heats up my bedroom too much and takes up too much room on my desk.

I can't see any ghosting on Quake 2 Arena 😀 It's not too shabby for only $410 w/ shipping and taxes 😀

It replaced my 19" Viewsonic Flat Screen monitor - it was too big and I also had a problem with the heat. I think the temp in my room has dropped like 5 degrees since i set it up 🙂
 
mmm, I love my 18.1" 1800FP!! MMmmm your desk looks wonderful compared to my messy desk, but i don't care because my 1800FP takesa ll the attention away!
 
I can't wait until I can afford an LCD...I could probably buy one right now, but I'd be almost broke...I'm gonna buy two 18" screens this summer. 😀

Hey, it's just a gateway case, nothing elsehttp://www.knology.net/~rbloedow/DSCF0002.JPG. My new current case is also a Gateway - I like it because I got it for free, but also because it uses the industry ATX standard (rare in an OEM), and because it's tooless. The only original Gateway parts are the Case itself and the PSU (250w and it's pushing my whole P4 system without a hitch). I bought my own mobo and it fits just fine 😀 Here're some pics:

The slimline technology was pretty nice. I had the 2 standard speakers then got a couplr of surrounds off ebay cheap. I'll use em till i blow em up 🙂

You will love your monitor. 🙂

I have a 19" Planar and it is worth every penny I paid. (and it cost quite a few pennies!)
