hes got approval, so if shes hot i say go for it. btw, if she was an older sister, i dont think hed need approval.

sister might not be so bad, if I had a sister I'd rather have her dating someone I know and like vs some a-hole.

I hope not. He actually called me up and said that all is cool. I didn't ask him, he called me. She asked me out too, I did not ask her out the first time.
 
If you had the go-ahead with your friend and his sister asked you out. Then I guess it's a green light for you. Good luck. And if you break her heart, i'm sure that your friend will want to kick your ass.
 
What are you talking about. The bylaws in the man club are clear about dating a best friend's sister.

Article XIV
Section 16a
pg. 3 pp 6:

Officially the "Man Club" will deny any outward approval of a "Man Card" member's dating, fondling, sex or otherwise affectionate behavior towards the sister, cousin or mom of another "Man Card" member. Outward penalties, as mandated by the "Man Club" penalties article but subject to comittee review, will include ostracization by other "Man Club" members. However, revokation of the "Man Card" is not enforced in this particular offense. According to the "Man Club" sub-bylaws, it is known among members that the above behavior is actually approved and encouraged within the organization, in the spirits of healthy competition and jovial rivalry. Approval of said behavior by the fellow "Man Card" member is preferred, but not required. Such behavior is especially encouraged on sisters, cousins and moms of ex-girlfriends, as defined in the "Man Club" companion glossary.

Anyways, I had never heard about this before in this sense. I was always under the impression that you didn't do this sort of thing BECAUSE of the smackdown you'd face if the relationship went sour.

a friend of mine did the same thing, he's now my brother-in-law.
