Wow.

Kind of crazy to think of.

Even for myself, if I think back to where I was when I became a member here was a total different place in my life than I am at now.

I was single, living in another state, drinking and smoking.

Since then I've worked at 4-5 different companies, am married with a kid on the way, hardly drink haven't smoked in (going on) 6 years, live in another state, love my job and own a home.

We better pray the database migration is not a lie, and they just don't start fresh with the new vB forums.

Back in the good old days of price matching the 155% at Staples, OM, OD, then the online deals too...such fond memories....how many of those super deal retailers made it even....not many.

I was lazy on the migration from the old boards, didn't sign up right away....and real lazy on post count.

Carry on.

Wow fewer posts per day than me and I've been here about the same length of time. My low posting rate is due mainly to quitting for several years though.

Since you came back you never actually quit. ;)

I can just imagine all the people who have worked so hard, and diligently on their post count with,-- Meh, QFT, Wat, This, etc, PULLING THEIR HAIR OUT!

TBH I think it's more of a challenge to be well known lurker than to be a lifer.

On this account, I have been here 9 years.
On the Hayabusa Rider account, also 9 years.
Almost 2 years on the Common Courtesy account.

Why not list the rest of them......

I know. The Russ account was one of my favorites. I don't know why he hasn't logged in with that one lately.

You really are a lifer, despite your postcount. :p

I learn a lot here, too. However, I'm too cheap to be anywhere near bleeding edge w/ my hardware. Experience > * when it comes to learning.

I've been here almost 9 years now and that's hard to believe.

Great forum w/ some great people. Plenty of idiots, but they're unavoidable anywhere ya go.

Those were the time when you can really score some "Hot Deals."

The only draw back was that computer stuff then not only cost you an arm but your two legs.:)

Lucky too if your dial up connection to the intarweb was working good.

Porn then was too slow to download...dsl was non existent.
