Not necessarily. I met my husband and two of my very best friends on here. We were all in different states initially and now we share a house, as well as joys, sorrows and a heck of a lot of fun. This forum is as productive or as time-wasting as you choose to make it, just like everything else in life. You get out of it what you put in most of the time, with occasional disappointments or pleasant surprises.

Wow fewer posts per day than me and I've been here about the same length of time. My low posting rate is due mainly to quitting for several years though.
