I have never heard "No worries" used this way. Is this a new Desi-ism like "Please do the neeful" ?

I say no worries all the time. also, instead of saying "thanks" I say "cheers"

so the transaction would go like this:

him: I'll swallow, because I know that's how you like it.
Me: Cheers!
him: No worries!

hmm...i've been using no worries in CA for the past 4-5 years. not extremely common, but for some reason it is what comes naturally for me.
