Well, I constantly leave my AIM name on so of course people can leave me messages that I see later, yesterday I get this:

So i'm just like, ok blow that off, yet today when I get back from class:

So i'm like ok wtf...I didn't do anything I can think of except catch some people I know trying to sneak into a movie, but that was like 2 weeks ago....

BTW: Feel free to harrass this guy, without threatening of course

i'm not afraid in the sense that i'm gonna get hurt, i just dont want anyone to get hurt over something so trivial...if this means physical violence, then fine, i just want it out of the work place...

the thing is, the person i think it is will try to catch me at work...i dont wanna lose my job right now, other than that, they cant do anything legally to me that they wouldnt be caught for (assuming its who i think it is)

 
Just block them. If they really wanted to hurt you they would, rather than "threatening" you over IM, where they can be anonymous. If they had any balls at all they'd at least threaten you to your face.
 
couldn't you like block his name?

it would be easier to do that, and it's more tedious for him to keep getting new names to harrass you.

could be girl.... a redheaded one even....

i dont want to block the person til i catch them while i'm on, see if i can get them to say more incriminating things, after i get what i want, i'll block him/her

That's just a waste of time. Even if you did get them to say something else what would you do? It's unlikely that the police will take it seriously enough to do anything about it (like I said, terrorizing over IM? Please.). The only thing that would likely come of that is just pissing off this person more.

I was outside talking to the guys that were gonna do it, I went in and told a manager...the thing is I was gonna get them in free anyway, but things went way south.

They knew 2 employees that worked there (non-managers) and they tried to sneak them in through the back but were caught. The 2 employees got written up. Well it turns out I was in the movie they went to go see (they bought tickets after getting caught) and afterwards, one of the employees that was written up got in my face and I just ignored him basically...

I told them well ahead of time that I told the manager about it, the fact they still tried to sneak them in afterwards is their own fault.

The thing is, the employee told me they were gonna pay anyway (this is prior to trying to get them in) so I didnt give them free passes (i'm also a manager, only at a different building now) so instead they still tried it and got boned

it was originating as a joke, hence i had passes so they could get in free anyway....it just didnt turn out the way i wanted it
