well i have that blockbuster unlimited dvd rental thing and I just watched disc one of The O.C. and liked it and am now thinking of buying the whole first season cause i cant wait for all the other discs to come. does anyone else like the oc or should i just turn in my man card?

That is just sad, really. I would respect you more if you were a XENA fan and had collected all of those DVD's. At least there's leg and boobage in XENA, what do you get in OC, dysfunctional materialistc twits, thats what.

OP is better off watching the oc and keeping his man card than watching xena and losing it.
 
no..you're not alone...the show wouldn't survive in primetime if only women were watching.....basically this decades submission for 90210...not sure it will last as long though as it seems all the love triangles/match ups have been done and the entire cast looks like they're out of college already..

5. underage drinking and rehab
6. school jock's dad comes out of the closet
7. school jock gets some from ex-girlfriend's mom
8. main character goes from poor car thief to rich oc kid to poor construction worker to rich foo
9. richest guy in the show gets arrested
10. love triangle
11. another love triange, which involves a pregnancy of third person
13. a love i-cant-name-this-freaking-shape
14. divorce
15. marriage
16. people punching other people and getting thrown into swimming pools
17. vegas
18. strippers (female)
19. strippers (male)
20. somebody's house gets burnt down to the ground

i'm not sure if they've killed anyone yet, but i'm sure they'll do it soon enough

I hate the fact that i live in irvine california, and when i tell people where i live they say "Oh you live in THE OC?" to which i get disgusted and want to kill myself.

but i hear mixed things about the show, mainly "try it and see" someday i might.
