doesn't matter. if the material isn't stretchy, make sure the slit has more than an inch of overlap, though.

i use the trap door.

i don't like it hanging out, but if the trapdoor is cut right it doesn't open. check around for one of michaelD's rants about hanes' inability to cut a proper trapdoor

I wear ones without the button. It gets uncomfortable if it "peeks out," especially if you're wearing jeans. Knowing me being a teenager, sometimes it really begins to suck.

I've never had any issues with it "flopping out."

And as to not blanketly insult the majority of posters with that problem ... I'll be the bigger man and not imply anything further.

...

Talk about a contradiction. How can you be the "bigger man" but not have the flopping out problem? Unless it was never in to begin with :D

I find the unbotton to be far superior than the slip though

It clears the entire opening. That basically keeps it "tucked in" and on whatever side it was since I last got dressed/bled the lizard.

:shrug;

It only takes half a second...

And then you have to tuck your shirt in again.

No preference here

Button just prevents it from sticking out, which does happen.

I didn't think they made sewn up boxers. I don't think I would enjoy those.

Boxer briefs are the way to go imho.

I used to do boxers, disliked the ones without the button, and wear the boxer briefs about 99% of the time nowadays. If you get ones with buttons, be sure it's not some crazy big button.... they can poke you in awkward ways.
