Because I can either spend $7 for 1oz at any of the grocery stores here, or $4 for a pound at Costco. Can you guess which one I'm going to choose?

I have one of those one-pound jugs of Christopher Ranch garlic sitting in my fridge, slowly going bad. (yes, garlic goes bad) I need a way to use the garlic, and fast, because there's no way I can cook 200+ garlic cloves with any of the recipies I have now. Anybody have any brilliant ideas... besides dumping it all in a big pot of boiling water along with a lobster. 😛

Eat it raw!

Edit: I'm serious too...my mom buys garlic for cooking, but I periodically steal cloves to munch on. It's very healthy 🙂

It's harder to get sick if no one wants to be around you! 🙂

I used to like that, but I decided I enjoy having a chance with women.

Raw garlic? Stick a couple of cloves back in the ground, especially around rose bushes. If lucky, you'll have plenty of garlic next season and the garlic helps the roses avoid black spot (fungus) and other types of mold.

Also, mincing garlic and storing it with olive oil perserves it awhile longer.

I live in Northern Nevada dude. The only things that grow here are Sagebrush, Cheatgrass and Pot. 😛
