WTF? I am 1 or 2 that hasn't been viciously attacked in my 19 years as a child. (and now, beyond that).

okay so does anyone know WHY graphite wounds stick around? I got one 10 years ago when a friend whirled around with a sharp pencil in his hand and mauled my index finger. my mom pretty much tried to cut it out and i think she might've gotten the main piece out. does the residue just stay there? and why is it BLUE????

2 pieces stuck in my left hand... maybe a third? Cant remember but graphite is fine for you. It gives you superpowers! 😉

Well I guess I'll share too.
Back in 5th grade Eddie stabbed me in the thigh with a pencil. Still a gray spot under the skin 20 years later.
I'll never forget that fateful day.

😀
I got my first in 2nd grade when a kid stabbed me in the back of the arm. Its been there for ~25 years now with no problems. I roll it around when I'm bored........

I have one in my arm, its been there for about 10 years. I still remember the girls name who put it there... im gonna bring it up if I ever see her agian.

I have one in my right palm where my sister stabbed me almost 30 years ago. Sadly, I still remember the incident - not so much for the stabbing but for the fact that she didn't get in trouble for it.

Left hand, right under the base of the pinky, been a part of me for almost 7 years now.

Pencil was tip side up in my jeans at school (right before an ACT exam). Person checking people into the classroom asked for ID or something, and I jammed my hand into my pocket, came back out with the pencil stuck in my hand and some blood. Stupid woman wouldn't let me go back out to clean it up until I held up my hand to show her the blood.

I'm graphite free, but have known quite a few people that had "pencil tats".
