One of my neighbors drives a large wrecker with an International engine home from work occasionally. He parks it on his own property. Today, he received a $10,000 fine for parking this truck on his property - a charge that I simply cannot even begin to comprehend. Their driveway connects directly to a truck route - so it's obviously not a weight restriction issue. There is no 'homeowners association' or anything of the like - it dissolved when the upper class people began moving in alongside the generations-old redneck families and litigation like this took it's place.
Also, they received a warning about parking a boat on their property. Perhaps somebody up here is a little resentful of other people's lifestyles, eh? And the sad thing is that this family moved out here to get away from this kind of crap in the suburbs.
Anyway, this kind of thing isn't without precedence. About a year ago, when AT&T (Or their contractor, anyway)was using the farm at the end of the road as a staging area for their fiber laying hardware, they received citations for dragging dirt onto the road. This is a dead end street that dead ends into a field, and any dirt that was tracked onto the road was gone long before it reached the property line for any house owned by someone who cares (My family has both sides of the end of the road, and soon the farm off the end). They also received citations for driving their 'loud' trucks up here at *yawn* 9PM. Nothing was ever said of weight restrictions, so I don't believe there are any - one of those trucks had a 10 ton drilling rig on the back.
5 years ago, my family was faced with a complaint about our vehicles - they were all 'too loud and too ugly' and when we refused to comply with this idiot's demands, we were literally told to "move out or the police will help you" by one of our neighbors. We told them to get off the property or the police would help them, and to come back with some LE to tell us to shape up or ship out. That never happened, and those fvcks moved out a month later.
And about six years ago, someone complained to the school board about the morning school buses making too much noise. Now we have to walk down to the truck route every morning.
Frankly, I'm fed up with these fvcktards, and it's prettymuch narrowed down as to which family is the one being a legal PITA - everyone else has been complained about or driven out. How should I make their life a living hell, but still remain perfectly within legal limits? Cummins based Dodge pickup? Older F-350 with a crate Cummins? Or somthing more direct?
