I have a little problem with newly built pc

All of the parts I have are new. DFI Lanparty 4 Ultra D, AMD Athlon 64FX 55, Samsung SATA 400GB 8mb cache HDD, and OCZ 600watt Gamexstream PSU. When I switch it on, power comes on but monitor doesn't turn on. So I have no choice but to turn the system off then turn it back up again, and monitor turns on like it had no problem. Except this problem, this system is very stable. I appreciate any helpful inputs.
 
I sometimes have trouble with restarts where my monitor does not turn on at post. I just turn my monitor on and off instead of my computer and it usually does the trick. Try that. Otherwise no idea. I have a 2007wfp, you?

Mine's Samsung 204bw, which is also brand new. Thanks for your input but I'd rather to get rid of this problem permanently.
 
Sounds like some kind of BIOS error. Try and ask DFI, they might have encountered the problem before.
 
Maybe the monitor has multiple inputs and defaults to the one that isn't hooked up? Do you leave the monitor powered on? Perhaps try having it off, and then turning it on after powering on the computer. Alternately if there's a button on the monitor to switch inputs, try that. My CTX LCD screen does that occasionally, will say "No VGA Input" when I'm using DVI.

It's eVGA GeForce 7950GT connected using DVI and is also brand new. Video settings gotta be default because I didn't touch it.
 
Your monitor isn't defective, and neither are any of your other components. That's a known issue with quite a few DFI motherboards, including the Ultra-D. Both of mine do it, whether overclocked to the extreme, or at stock speeds. Welcome to being a DFI owner.😉
