Hi, I wanted to know a few things about the PA329C. One was what type of backlit dynamic contrast it uses. Is it FALD, is it edge lit, and how the zones are distributed and the number of zones?
My other question is regarding the advertised static contrast ratio vs the actual contrast ratio of this monitor and its predecessor, the PA329Q, vs other 32" 4K 60Hz 10bit monitors out on the market. I've had disappointing results in regards to Asus's contrast ratio's and wanted some opinions on this issue from those with much more knowledge in this area then me, as well as better alternatives in a "similar" price range?
One thing of note that I find somewhat telling, is that along with seeing disappointing contrast ratio's on their monitors, I find it interesting that their own calibration software doesn't tell you what the contrast ratio is at the end of the calibration... A rather important number to be missing...
Thanks!
