I have a case of the Mondays

I feel like crap. I dislocated my hip yesterday and only got two and half hours of sleep last night. The only reason I came to work was because I knew I would get more sympathy from my co-workers than my wife. She always nags me when I injury myself working on cars, it drives me up the wall. :|

So how?s the first Monday of the New Year going for you?

Let's just say calling in sick was soooo tempting this morning. I got about as much sleep as you because I've been staying up late and sleeping in so I couldn't get any rest last night with all of the tossing and turning I was doing. I am used to falling asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow 🙁

I dont remember what Im supposed to do at work.
Barely remembered my password this morning............😀

LSU Tigers baby:beer:

well i just spoke with my friend and a coworker saturday dropped a chevy off the lift. life flashed before his eyes as he was working right near the car too...:Q

How in blue blazes does one dislocate a hip working on a car. Was the car moving at
the time of injury? Are you one of the working wounded like me?

Since I don't party, the kids are raised and I hit the sack at 10pm every night, its just
another Monday morning.

Hope the hitch in your get along gets better soon.....

Peter Gibbons: Let me ask you something. When you come in on Monday, and you're not feelin' real well, does anyone ever say to you, 'Sounds like a case of the Mondays'?

Lawrence: No. No, man. Sh*t, no, man! I believe you'd get your ass kicked sayin' something like that, man!

Monday blahs here in upstate NY too.

I work at a school district and with all the ice/sleet coming down last night I was hoping they would cancel this morning. However, as luck would have it the temps came up and it was allrain by 7AM - got a 1 hour delay, but no cancellation.

I have a ah heck of a cold too and also contemplated calling in this morning - but I took all last week off and just didn't want to take all the ribbing that would have surely come my way on Tuesday.

BAD case of the Mondays here too.

I only got 2 hours of the most restless sleep last night too. Seems to be a common thing. Not only that, but this bubonic plague that has been going around is sorta hitting me... its been lurking in the background all week and won't just hit and be gone.

I was rebuilding the rear end in a 2000 Mustang and didn?t realize the axle housing was bent. I dislocated my hip working the left axle shaft into the housing. It was taking more force than necessary and that?s when my hip popped. I have a bad hip from a motorcycle incident several years ago. It?s one of the reasons I gave up working on cars full-time and switch to providing tech support now.
