no way id spend that much on somethingespecially since its not wine or champagne for the woman who would at least get me something excpeta headahce the next morning (although that still might hold true 🙂 )

coming from the guy that won't buy a keyboard with a working spacebar.

Snap.

Anyway... the big question is whether OP will hoard it and get smashed on expensive liquor or take it to many fine holiday celebrations to share. 😉

Blue Label is fanstastic - I had two snifters full (the glass I prefer all dark spirits in) when I got my last job.

Haven't had Gold, but I have bought two bottles of Green in Duty Free last year that were also incredible, and not that much more expensive than Black. Mind you, for a blend Black is good, but Green is another thing altogether. But BLUE...omfg...

I'm jealous...

Future Shock

I bought one bottle of blue a while back and now I'll only get gold label as, IMO, it is just as good as blue label...and gold label goes for around $50.

I tried this $2500-$3000 750ml bottle of some label of Remy Martin (it was in a clear bottle with engraved lettering) and it tasted so smooth that it almost tasted like watered down liquor. Now that was something that was not worth the money.
