I have a biostar m7vig... need processor to be right speed!

Hi all,

My processor is showing up at 1.05ghz (it's a 1600XP), and I just need the information on how to change it so that it's up to the right speed in the bios. I don't want to mess with the settings as I'm not 100% sure on what they are.

I think that on all Biostar MB's there is a jumper on the motherboard to set the FSB to either 100 or 133 it is probably set wrong, check your manual.
