it can fire off 8 rounds in less than that many seconds,is it a assult weapon?

I have another "gun" that can shoot a bullet of a smaller caliber than the barrell and leave no rifiling marks on it. is it illegal?

I have another weapon that can shoot silently, is it illegal?

Almost sounds like a paintball gun. Mine will fire about 5 rounds a second, has a suppressed barrel, leaves no rifleing, can shoot smaller caliber balls, and is mad-maxed to look like an assault weapon 🙂 However it isn't technically a firearm.

i didnt come on here to win a spelling contest, or take forever writting out a post just be flamed by people whom i dont know, just to make a point. And i am sick and tired of hearing all the crap that people spout off with about spelling just beacuse they have no clue about the subject. So if ya dunt likey it, dunt read it!
 
In all fairness, it's a silly topic for this forum. You obviously have a number of objects that may or may not be guns, and you are clumsily trying to use irony to point out that they share characteristics with "assault weapons". You'd get better responses if you presented your topic with more clarity and less window dressing.

What i was trying to point out, is that all of these ARE legal.
All ARE assult weapons, to be a weapon it assults something, human or other wise. So since these have NOTHING in common with banned "assult" weapons, the term itself is meaningless. Either all weapons are or aren't.

The type of answer i was looking for came in the form of "why do you want something like this anyway?"
Why? because its what americans used since they first set foot in this country, its what gave us our freedom from the British, its what our ancestors used to supply food for themselves instead of starving. And its what i use today to do hunt with, thats why i have one.

There is only one true assult weapon, the hand that holds the weapon.

This thread was intended to bring to light how much, or how little some know about guns, but can spout off about them constantly, but cant realize a ban means nothing to criminals, and only hurts law abiding citizens.
 
I have'nt paid attention to the law other than what I read in second amendment.

Definity sounds legal to me,

... but youd probably be arrested for it and have to take it up with the supreme court.

why? as i said, those who complain the loudest about guns know the least, that is why.
and about the guns, well anone whi is a "Gun owner and afficionado" should know the rest
 
Okay, i guess i better make myself clear to all the gun haters what guns i am talking about.
No. 1 is a 22 cal. revolver, 6 inch barrel, totally legal, that when the hammer is fanned, can spit out 8 rounds in about 4-5 seconds.
No.2 is a 50 cal. muzzleloader rifle, totally legal. One that puts no mark on the bullet because bullet is wrapped in a cloth patch, and aslo can shoot a sabot bullet in 44. cal.
No.3 as i said is silent, also inst a gun, its a hunting bow.

But the typical response i got of "why would you want something like this anyway" is just that, typical of non gun owners, and anti gunners. Though it seems here they resist showing their "smarts" on the subject.
 
Easy to sit there and make jokes about spelling when hidden behind a computer in the saftey of your home.
As i said, i dont give a rats a$$ what you think about spelling. So why dont you get off your High horse, or soap box, whatever its is you are on (good question there) and shut the _ _ _ _ up. Yeah, i see way beyond sweating the little stuff that most of you would be ranting and raving about and demanding it be paid for by the woman. Its not worth it to me. There are things way more important in this life, and i tell ya, i feel sorry for the people who think their life should be tailor made in a off the shelf world, and so wrapped up in their miserable existance that they will die of a coronary before age 50.
So if ya want, pity me for being lower middle class, for my car is paid for, my truck is paid for, nothing is owed on my home, i have a loyal sweet wife, great kids and grandkids, i have not one credit card bill, and i owe no one and accept no charity. So go ahead and pity me. and make your jokes. I laugh at you..
