Firearms could be useful in a red dawn type scenario. Of course anyone would be crazy to try to invade the United States.

the only reason we need firearms now is to protect the sane people in america from the gun nut white nationalist fascists.

To be fair, VERY few people are really calling for complete repeal of the 2A. I mean there are some, do not get me wrong, but that is beyond a small minority.
All most people are looking for are more stringent gun laws/checks to help prevent guns from getting in the wrong hands. On top of that, and I personally even think more so, America has to get away from it's insane gun-loving "must have" culture.
There are hundreds of thousands of people that should never be allowed near a firearm. The problem is that we can't deny that right without cause. The other issue is that people that want to use firearms to commit a crime will always be able to get them.
Identifying the problem is simple, solving it would require measures that most people would object to.

apparently you forgot about the part of the 2nd amendment about guns in the context of a WELL-REGULATED MILITIA

how does it feel being so dishonest all the time?

But senators are now elected by popular vote which is more democratic. If you are referring to the electoral college as being anti-democratic then I agree.

However you appear to happy that the majority doesn’t rule in this country? If so can you explain your desire for minority rule?

At least with majority rules, its a very specific defined thing. The person with the most votes. Minority rule has no such specifics. The guy/group with the least votes gets his way? If that were true, elections would suck. Everyone would just stay home so their preferred candidate didn't get any votes lol

Why is that? We can easily work around the few negatives of mass gun ownership by having Winnie the Pooh teach 6 year olds to Run, Fight, and Hide!

Or to be battlefield medics!

As long as daddy gets to keep his boom stick it’ll all work out.

Everyone knows that is not true.

Most of these mass shootings wouldn't have even happened without easy access to weapons.

What about all the other shootings? 10 people getting killed in a mass shooting isn't all that different than ten people getting killed over a weekend.

A lot of gun violence is done with a legally owned gun, as many are crimes of passion, domestic violence, etc.. NOt like you give a shit about the mass shootings, as we clearly see by your words and continuously voting for gun nuts.

And if you were a decent human, you'd have to take into account that the prevalence of illegally owned guns is basically happening because legal gun nuts have continuously made guns so easily available and with few restrictions in their shithole states, that they have become so easy to acquire illegally.

Either way you look at it, gun nuts are the issue. Of course, you are a dishonest shitwagon that thinks the 2nd amendment allows for all this while completely ignoring half the words in the actual 2nd amendment.

The majority of those guns used in those killings are stolen from "responsible gun owners" or are being used by "responsible gun owners".

You are talking about Americans here, no one has read the first half of 2nd Amendment, and 90%+ had the second half regurgitated for them by their favorite media outlet in the way they want to hear.
