a bunch on GoG and some on Amazon, and I'm playing Don't Starve almost exclusively... and tempted to play X-Com: UFO Defense again which I like more than Enemy Unknown... Sigh I feel kind of stupid sometimes. At least most of these games I paid pennies to dollars for with humble bundles. Anyone else in similar situations?

Yep. I do actually play some, but mostly I play LoL and only turn to my catalog when I'm peeved at that game. All the while I am always adding to it....

If I had any family with PC's I'd loan it out to them ;p

I've cut back on buying stuff on steam. My library is getting messy and I'm starting to forget what I own.

over 250 Steam games here... Don't know when I'll ever get to play them all. Every time I see a game on sale the inner voice says... YOU'LL NEVER PLAY IT! But the "other" inner voice says "But it's such a good deal!" :)

Yep. I've actually purchased a game twice only to find out I already had it in Steam.

same "problem" here.
I have also dozen of "physical" (pc/console) games still in the original cellophane..
The only thing I play when I have a couple of free hours is Starcraft II, still trying to come out of the Gold league :D

Steam sales are like a crack addiction to some. Must... click... "Add to cart"...

(And yeah, Don't Starve is awesome)

300+ thanks to bundles and a square-enix mega pack back when they were still doing those regularly.

I've finally convinced myself to slow way down on the purchases.

Error 404, Game Not Found?

As many others, I have played less than half of the game I own. At least I don't buy games very often anymore.

According to his profile, he has 1,291 games.

http://steamcommunity.com/id/KaOTiK/

By comparison, I have 1,178.

http://steamcommunity.com/id/dankhagen/

On that note, wow, I didn't realize I was so close to KaOTiK in # of Steam games. :\ Either I've been buying a lot more games lately, or he's been buying less (I'm guessing it's the latter).

quick, drop a few benjamins so you can overtake him before he can get the opportunity to buy more games!:biggrin:

He probably stopped buying them. He had some trading issue with a steam key that turned out to be region locked by developer and he fell out of love of steam after that if i remember correctly. There is probably more to the story but I think that was the gist of it.

I 'only' have about 210, maybe half never played. I don't feel so bad after reading this thread. :)

I have 99 games in my library. I've played about 35 of them. I've finished about 20 of them.

But a bunch of the games are MP games that I will never launch since I don't generally play MP games...but they came within bundles so I own them anyway. Really wish Steam would let us delete or deactivate games from our library.
