I have 1500 dollars and I NEED LCD monitor

I'm selling an SGI 1600SW 17.3" LCD with 32MB Oxygen video card if anyone's interested The unit I'm selling is barely used (I currently have three), and is perfect for professional graphics work and DVD watching. I also do some occasional gaming (Deus Ex, AOE2, Q3) and there has been little ghosting (if any at all).

bump... Hey guys I am looking at the Samsung 180t and the Sony SGM-N80 and the SGM-M81... I am CURRENTLY Looking for a digital and analog input 18" viewable screen. Is there any that I should look into? All the links to reviews you guys have would help... THANKS!!!

The refresh rate on an LCD is totally different. It isnt like a crt where a beam scans, its just solid color pixels changing color. 60hz on a LCD be totally flicker free, comparable to like 120hz on CRT, although your mouse wont be nearly as smooooth. Also, with vsync, your refresh rate is your max fps.

I just purchased a Hercules GeForce3. It has DVI out and supports up to a resolution of 1600x1200.
