I have gained 20lbs in the past 2 years. And i cant stop eating fries with everything and something about eating a salad leaves me hungry rather quickly. UHG!!

so basically you are a lazy fvck.

why dont you go to the gym AFTER work and not eat crap? that might just help.

If you want to snack, buy some carrot/celery sticks. That's what I do. I found myself snacking on junk food all the time before doing this.

I work 12 hours days, and i hit the gym for an hour before i go to work.

find a healthier snack food, and exercise on the weekends, bike, jog, swim, anything. and plz don't do the atkins thing, it's not healthy.

Everyone in the OT section is so polite. "Excercise you fat fvck".

Most forums I visit would have you banned for that kind of stupid shiat.

Well, make a choice. If you don't want to put on another 10 lb., stop eating the fries. You might not like eating a salad, OK, but you can experiment with other alternatives to eating seriously fattening food like fries.

Looking at the thread title, have you seen "Office Space"? It's really funny. Yeah, working on a computer in an office environment can really suck, but I have to tell you. I've had a lot of jobs and you could do a lot worse a lot of times.

I sit in a cubicle all day, and I'm currently 70 lbs. less than I was less than 2 years ago. Not to mention I've went on 2 bulk phases to purposely gain muscle in that time, so in all I've lost probably between 110-120 lbs. in that time period.

You are lazy. Don't blame your job for your diet/exercise habits.

Harsh words but fair. I hit the gym 4 or 5 times a week and eat sensibly to make up for the hours I sit on my arse at work. Result = maintained healthy body.

I agree with blazerazor here. I too started working in an office setting last year and have had a more difficult time adjusting to sitting around all day. Before you start flaming, no I don't usually eat junk food all day and yes, I do work out 5 times a week. But going from an outdoor construction site where you are constantly moving/walking to sitting behind a desk for 10 hours a day is pure hell.

It's really fundamental. You just have to make up your mind that your body comes first, period. My workouts have been priority number one for me for 20 years, no exception, ever. I find all those ads for gyms after Christmas just absurd. I never let go of my commitment to fitness.

Will you at least tell me that I'm beautiful and special?

I lose weight when I have an office job but I will not sit and eat in my cubicle... it's very unprofessional and people will think you are a fat slob if you sit there feeding your face all day.

Drinks lots of water... no cals and you have to get up and pee every 30-45 minutes or so which is minimal exercise and a nice break, lol.
