😕 Do you mean white dress socks or tube socks? Black gray or beige dress socks, even some greens and dark blues look ok with shoes, but I don't think I've ever seen white dress socks.

I've never worn white tube socks with shoes, it's retarded looking. With any color sneakers, they look fine though IMO.

They look pretty bad almost all the time IMHO. Socks are a good way to add some color to your outfit. Target makes some nice dress socks under their Merona brand that are cheap and look good. Usually wear white socks when I hit the gym though because they're cheaper. No show kind. Would probably be better to get some wicking socks. For snowboarding I use wool or boarding socks. You could also get socks that a thermal properties to them. The white cotton socks get kind of cold once your feet start sweating.

I have a set of black socks made just like white socks. They exist, you just have to look 😉

Even better, they are made here in the USA, not india or something. And get this, I bought them at walmart!

Yeah I bought a 9-pack of black Hanes socks for about $12 the other day. They're exactly like white socks except black. So they're comfortable, warmer than typical black socks, and look a whole lot better. I wouldn't wear them with a suit but I have a couple of "nice" pairs for that.

I have reached sock nirvana thanks to this purchase. I now have:

- A few pairs of ankle height white athletic socks
- A few pairs of warm, thick wool socks for wearing around the house in winter
- A bunch of pairs of black crew socks for wearing to work
- A couple pairs of fancy black socks for more formal occasions
