I hate when people bring babies to work!!

If she wanted to bring the kid in and everyone go to the lobby to look at it, fine. But to go from cube farm to cube farm is uncalled for. Disrupts my work because a lot of people congregate nearby and make a lot of noise. Plus a crying baby doesn't belong in the office.

At school, teachers occasionally bring in their young kids because their school is closed for the day, etc. It's also mandatory to haul in the newborns. I always find those cute and amusing.

if it was uncalled for, why didn't management step in and tell her to leave? or was it OK with management? sounds like you should take up your issue them instead of ATOT

you should have taken a break while she was nearby, went and took a walk or something. if management is ok with everyone going gaga over a baby, surely they would have been ok with you going to the breakroom or for a walk across the street.

She brought the baby in to show everyone. She is still on leave. Just wanted to have the entire office see her kid. Went from cube farm to cube farm.

Personally, I think if she can come in to show off the baby, she can come in to work.

would you like a little cheese to go with that whine? sheesh....lighten up!!

it's called life. if you can't deal with something like this you don't belong in a work place anyway. you obviously can't handle living and should promptly end yourself.
