I hate weekends

Bateluer

Again, because of the positioning of the weekend, my electronic auto payment has been removed from my account before the paycheck again. Total balance = -$133.65. Get my paycheck on Monday too. Out-fricking-standing . . . :|

exactly. I like to know and prepare for transactions. $30 overdraft fee me once... but never again.

This is the second time this has happened. I am seriously thinking of stopping the auto debit and writing the checks manually.

You can still pay online manually ya know... that's the third option.

Or you know...change the pay date to a few days later. Or *gasp* keep a bit of a buffer in there to prevent it all together.

Don't make enough money to do that without ceasing my martial arts classes. 🙁

I'll have to take a look at Bank of America's website, see what they have for online payments.

Even with that some of my friends have had some nasty problems. I'd rather not have to worry about any of it.

No... what I meant by online payments is ... whatever service you have, you pay online at THEIR site. Say you have Verizon landline... you pay at verizon.com ... Verizon cell phone ? You pay at Verizonwireless.com ... you'll need to register and tie in your bank account (via routing number and acct number) at each site and just go to these sites once a month and hit pay bill.

I have about 6 sites per month I hit... but I have total control of pay dates ... while saving on stamps. I have reminders setup via Yahoo Calendar so I can keep track too (syncs with PDA) but you don't even have to be that organized... just an extra convenience.

I should be more specific. My auto loan is from Bank of America, however, I do not have any other accounts at Bank of America. My primary accounts are in Huntington National Banks and Credit Union West. The Auto-pay service is setup through a 3rd party organization, www.saveyourdough.com is their website site.

My paychecks are electronically deposited into my Huntingon checking account, and from there I have bill pay setup to allow me to transfew funds to my CU West accounts. I use the CU West accounts to do things that require in-state checks, services, etc. A lot of institutions won't take an out of state check, and ATM fees can be really painful.

There should be a way to setup my Huntington bill pay to allow me to electronically pay my auto bills to Bank of America, but on the setup screen it says it only allows me to transfer to checking/savings accounts at other banks. I'll have to call Huntington and Bank of America monday methinks.

I pay all of mine from my credit union's bill pay system. I can specify an autopay, or set it up to pay an amount I specify when I specify (which is what I choose). Works great for me.

Do they charge you for the bill pay feature with your bank/credit union ? Last I checked, Wamu did..

I'm stuck at work for month end, but due to circumstances with the timing of the weekend and holiday in relation to the 1st, no data has come in from our credit unions, so I get to sit here drinking cough syrup and neffing for 8 hours. I want to sleep. 🙁
