So instead of mentioning all that previously, you are going to show us epic presents this time next year?

Once your business explodes please come back to us with a generous holiday policy.

I sure hope it takes off man. :) We've done a pretty thorough demographic study and the clientele is there to meet our patient load goals for sure, but nothing is guaranteed. Our area is recognized medically as a critically undeserved area by the Dept. of Health and Human Services.

ACA is another concern with how they are reshaping provider networks and restructuring payouts. Who knows what it's going to be when the dust finally settles and we can predict accurate profit margins. So for now our only hedge is to keep overhead a low as we can and lease additional space to other physicians who have expressed interest in coming into the area as well. One way to do that is to horde back as much as we can between now and when we do the grand opening (maybe as early as May, maybe as late at October) so we will have as much working capital as possible to keep the doors open while things mature into (hopefully) a profitable situation.

To be honest, it scares the shit out of me... But to paraphrase Steve Jobs; "You can't be afraid to fail.."

OP is just pissed because his wife wears the pants in the family.

Poor bastard. I wear the pants in my family...but my wife picks them out for me to wear. :p

Like others, as much as I agree with the OP on his hate for WallyWorld (and other retailers) for being open on Turkey day, I see the blame in this being his wife and her control over his balls...WallyWorld is merely providing the opportunity for her to squeeze his nutsack.
We were at WallyWorld last night looking for a couple of things. The aisles were full of large boxes and pallets of stuff, all wrapped up to keep people out of it. All in preparation for "the big Black Friday sale."

You have already failed when your SO isn't on the same page.

Your wife "GUILTED" you into going there.

However, this was just a brag thread at best and clueless at worse.

I don't even understand where you're headed with that, but its whatever at this point...
I came, I vented, I feel better about it, that's it. Don't like it? Move on... Go read something else. Most things I post have no intrinsic value and I get that too...so what?

Anyway, not going to belabor this one any further. Enjoy your Thanksgiving everyone! :)

who the fuck does black friday for kid gifts? Black Friday is for TV's and 3-year old gen electronics. Your wife has the whiplash out on this one. I love my fiancee - but I would laugh at her if she expected that. Order some fucking toys online Amazon or some shit. It ultimately boils down to dollar differences that are made up in time.

You could just not go out and instead pay full price for the items you're looking to buy. Black Friday deals really aren't that spectacular. Saving $100 is no longer worth 5 hours of my life waiting in line, dealing with crappy people, and freezing in cold weather.

5 hours?! For the last few years I've heard nothing but camping out...

It's fine I guess...

I really just came here to vent a little, I'm sure taking some lumps for it though. I've been around here long enough though that I've acquired a pretty good flame suit over the years so no matter, but So far I've been called a troll, told my wife wears the pants, told she's got my nuts in a jar, accused of being financially irresponsible and a poor provider, when none of that could be further from the truth.

We're trying to keep costs down this season because at the beginning of next year we're going into business for ourselves so we've been water-sheading debt as of late to make sure we're going to be in a good position to successfully pull off this start-up (a rural healthcare clinic if you're wondering).
She does. You're married. :p

I was just messing with you.

Healthcare? That's scary. Best of luck.

I hate Walmart when it comes to the employees. Some of them look like they've just gotten out of prison or something.

Your wife's intelligence level isn't up to ATOT standards and she doesn't make six figures like all of ATOT's wives. Divorce is the only option. ;)
