I put some ASII on my cpu and also changed my supply from 200w to an enermax 350w. This however does not fit in my case (i have a gateway tower case), and seems to make no difference when overclocking. However my CPU temps have dropped from around 55C on full load to 45C on full load:) But now even when its not overclocked I get errors on the torture test!!!! I have never got these before and could go to 1.47GHz without error, now at 1.33GHz (unoverclocked) I get a few errors, It was about 3 errors in 8 mins. Please help, have I damaged the chip in some way? I was very carefull, and definitly didnt crack the core. I did use nail polish remover on the chip to remove the heat pad.

check your Vcore voltages. if you hard-set them with jumpers, and are now running your default voltage, too much will also cause instability.

When I run in safe mode (win 98SE) I don't get any errors on the torture test. does this mean the instability is caused by driver problems??
