Pioneer DD/DTS receiver
2400W QSC 2-channel power amplifier to power the center channels
3600W QSC 2-channel power amplifier to power the subwoofer (yes, those amps are overkill but I use them to throw parties also)

Other stuff: cheap mixer & mic for karaoke, 5-disc cd changer, two vcrs, modded ps2 w/ hard drive.

Soon to come: an 8-channel box with DSP and universal inputs for microphones, another power amp, and a standalone decoder.

No, you don't beat a 61" DLP with a 50" plasma, though I'm sure you paid considerably more.

and i'm happy at home with my parent's 65" toshiba hdtv (rear proj) and soon to be acquired (hopefully!) onkyo hts-770....

i also have an xbox and have to get a new dvd player (i f-ed up the old one by constantly switching out the component inputs for use in my xbox).

Any particular reason why you have a HTPC and a modded xbox? TV shows?

i dont havea modded xbox, I have a Xbox meda center edition. It extends the HTPC XP MC conent from another PC.

Here's a picture of my HT when I was setting it up half a year ago.

See those two silver plated amps on the left? Those are the 2400W and 3600W power amplifiers. ;)
