I also am running the Film Production Club at my school every Tuesday, in between shooting short films for other things and reading the occaisonal Joseph Campbell book in between. When I get home I have pretty much zero free time, but that hasn't got me down. I'm getting straight A's in all my classes and life is holding up. I think I'm going a bit crazy though. I hope I don't crack under all this pressure.

pfff LOL comparing HS to college.

I did most of what you are mentioning and more. I got straight As and it was a cakewalk.

Please don't compare HS to college.

<---happily out of college and working now :D

lately, some kids go overboard with that HS sh!t since all the bull the guidance counselors BS them about how to get into college. Hes just misinformed, but working hard. Don't hate him for that :)

And it'll only get worse. According to my calendar I will not have a proper rest until the end of December.

I can't wait til I am outta this hell hole and into a decent job. Right now I can barely imagine having seemingly countless hours of free time (not to mention money!).

OH my freaking GOD, I read this thread title and I am shocked to read what a whiny ass you are. "I only get 20 minutes of foosball", "I only get 1 hr of exercise", "15 minutes of TV" Jesus H. Christ." I would KILL to be in your shoes. I would love to be young and healthy and be able to goto college. YOU HATE YOUR LIFE?? You are an ungratefull sh!t. How could you say you hate your life. Now me I HATE MY life. My life consists of going to Dialysis 3 times a week since I have kidney failure, Sitting in a wheelchair because I have 2 broken hips that will NEVER heal because I have SEVERE Osteoporosis, I have 1 vocal cord left because I had Thyroid CANCER, I have Severe Hypertension, I have CHF (congestive heart failure), I'm a stroke waiting to happen, Plus about a ton of other problems BUT THE REAL KICKER IS I am only 32 years old and I have been on Dialysis for 11 years. AND YOU HATE YOUR LIFE??????

Did I mention I have not PISSED In 11 years??? Or Walked in 4 years??? That I have to sh!t in a bucket???

When you graduate will have a good job and good pay and you will be able to play foosball all you want on your free time. While I struggle to stay alive so I can see my 7 year old son grow up.

Shame on you. Be gratefull for the GIFTS you have, And next time you take a nice long PISS think of me. Because while your pissing, everything I drink fills my lungs up with fluid.

And to all you idiots who will flame me, Well you never seen me make a topic on how much I hate my Fvcking life? I am not feeling sorry for myself I just can't believe some people sometimes.

I am sorry Epoman for what you are going through. Your courage and love of life is inspiring. I have been guilty of complaining about superfluous things, but I always try to thank for everything that was given to me.

Here is a PM I just got from the OP "MartyTheManiak"

pollyanna optimism is any spin on the old be happy with what you have, since there are people worse off than you. I don't follow that view, because I find it to be flawed. And yes, it does go both ways.

But I really should have known better than posting a few lines during a stressful time in a forum so overrun by assholes. I am very sorry for wasting the 10kb of forum bandwidth, or the 15pixels of your screen.

So I guess he's calling me an asshole.

Lol, how did I know this was going to happen? Actually I was mostly refering to bulldog13, whom I expect to chime in soon with the private message I sent him. Yes, I did post a few lines during a stressful time for me. Yes, I do hate the fact that I do not have a life at the moment. Nowehre did I even give a hint of my attitude towards things I hold dear.....but that didn't stop you from assuming all kinds of things about me, then condeming me for it.

You can exercise for an hour?
Lucky bastard.

If you can execise for an hour, stay awake in class, and comprehend what you read through the year, quit whining. <sourthen drawl>Whining is for us sick folks, healthy-boy!</southern>

Marty, you musta missed me the first time around.

HOW are you so busy? Explain to me where all your free time goes. I've taken 19 credit hours in a difficult major at a pretty good school and I ALWAYS have plenty of free time. Maybe you need to learn how to study more efficiently, before attacking people VERY CLEARLY worse off than you.

douche.

27/week. Though to be honest, I just can't do that much. I usually end up going to about 22-3 of them. That does exclude about 2hrs/week for midterms....which I have until mid nov. And definately won't include the many hours I'll ahve to spend in the lab when the projects get started.

Every night as I am going to sleep, I think of a better life. I mean, this whole thing goes against everything I love. I love going for 50km bike rides, hiking for days though high mountains, bing with friends and having fun.

I barely get up in the mornings too. If I have class at 10, I set my alarm for 845, so I can convince myself to wake up by 930.

Thats it? Most engineers at my school take about 35-37.
