It has been brought to my attention that the textbook on reserve in the library has been damaged. Pages corresponding to readings (specifically HMMs and BLAST/FASTA) have been ripped out of the text. This is very disappointing as it is my personal copy, which I made available. More importantly, however, is that these pages are no longer available to the rest of the class the week before the midterm!

WTF people?! Are you that ignorant/selfish about everyone else... why couldn't you just photocopy them - or are you purposefully being an asshole for whatever reason. :|

I ran into this recently with the LSAT practice test book I got at the library, assholes had made their answer markings on the pages. Really, how fucking difficult is to to grab another piece of paper?
