I hate the word "cohort".

My local schools liked using that word to split classrooms into groups during the pandemic.

I always imagined the kids putting on Roman armor and battling on a field for supremacy

I feel the same way. I noticed that lately it has become the favourite cringe word among middle management, and those who aspire to be middle management.

Cohort is so passe.

The use of the word died out 15+ years ago.
