The largest cost is housing, get some roommates. Moved there for a while with 4 friends. Rented a 3 bedroom and rent was like $325 a person, cheaper than a decent 1 BR back in MI.

Florida is cheap and warm. Stay away from the northwest, we dont need more traffic .

It's not that I hate the weather, it's just that I want something new after 20 years.
