I hate it. It's our grace day when we have to enter tonnes of our financial info and check to ensure the majority of our revenue has been booked correctly. Something inevitably goes wrong and it's always a super long day. Also, I always have to ensure I am here at work unless I am on my death bed. Good times! D:

Growing up in the hood, everyone knew to stay away from any grocery stores, banks, carry outs, or even to generally stay off the roads, on the 1st and 15th of the month.

Though now that I am nowhere near the hood anymore, 1st of the month means running a million reports on all the previous months data.

I hate the 1st and 15th. Living in a military town, everyone gets paid those two days, and it's nearly impossible to get anything done those days because everyone has money to spend.

I try to stagger my shopping to be in between paydays just to avoid all that junk.

I think I must have been the only guy in the entire Navy to save his money and do stuff when required, not on the 1st and 15th.
And I too, avoided most of the bars and malls and stuff on those days. Too many idiots running around like mad.
