It's how managers justify their jobs. They don't give a shit about company's money versus their jobs.Do a study on what the meetings are costing in terms of production and service. The only thing corps understand is money. Of course, if there's a top dog's ego involved, they don't even understand that.
My daily status meetings are pretty boring as well, mostly because I spend most of my day doing the same damn things every day. Do you really need a reminder what I'm working on, when most of it hasn't changed in months?
