I hate snow!

I just looked out the window, and I can just barely see the house across the street.

I have no idea why I liked snow when I was a kid. I must have been high on crack.

Awesome! Get your ass out there and build a snow fort or something.

Weirdo.

But what's not to like? You can throw it at people, laugh at your friends as they fall on it, laugh at n00bs on the road as they fishtail while driving 10mph, eat it, build stuff out of it, the list just keeps going on.

Or something proper.

When it snowed here, some guys built a giant dick & balls in the campus apartment quad. I think the thing was something like 7' tall.
Why sculpt that and not a giant vagina, I am not certain.

Cold weather and snow are great, it's why I put up with the ~6 months of sweltering heat here in NY during the summer. I feel so sorry for people who live further south :(

It easy to like snow when you're not old enough to drive, not so easy when you can.

You must live in an area where you only very occasionally get snow. Real northerners have no issues driving in it, in fact it's fun as hell in the right car ;)

I'm very good at driving in the snow, but it depends on what kind of car you have. I don't enjoy driving 10mph under the speed limit or having to pick and choose which street I drive because I'm afraid I'll get stuck in the snow. It all depends on what kind of car you have I guess.

well, we are on our fourth day of snow. northerners have it easy when it comes to snow and ice on the roads. it's one thing to have to drive in it, and another to have to drive in it on mountain roads, or up and down them.
i only wish we had flat land to tootle around in the snow on. even the drive from my house to the road is a roller coaster, from 9155ft to 8050ft elevation. then at least i hit pavement. haha
the only day i hate is wen cottonwood pass closes, that means my fishing season is over, and this year it closed on a nice snowstorm.

Do you coach or something? That's a crazy number.

I was thinking the same thing...you're a lucky man if that's true...I'm happy to get a dozen or so days a year on the mountains...this year probably will be much much less =(

And I enjoy the fact that it's summer and I go to the beach everyday and look like a baked ham.

OP, I'm with ya. I also hate the snow...and the cold.

After a couple of winters in western Wyoming, I was happy to move to Kahleeforneeya. Here, IF I want to see snow, it's only a 2 hour drive, but so is the ocean.

I ca drive in snow...grew up in it, learned to drive in it, have driven everything from trucks, tractor-trailers, and large cranes in the stuff, even went to the Bridgestone Winter Driving School one winter...woo-hoo! http://www.winterdrive.com/

Snow CAN be a lot of fun...but playing in it and living in it are two different things...especially if you work outside like I did most of my life.

This morning, here in northern Kahleeforneeya, it's F-O-G-G-Y...visibility is less than 1/4 mile at best, a few miles down the road, (near Fresno) it's down to less than 1/8 mile.

I guess that's one thing I liked better about the snow...for the most part, you can see what's in front of you...you may not be able to stop to avoid the crash...but at least you can see what you're gonna crash into...:D

Fucking idiots here drive 70 mph+ in fog so thick they can't see the end of the hood...then we have 100+ car pile-ups on the freeway.

I love snow. When I was a kid I'd get up early to listen to the radio to see if our school district declared a snow day - if not it would go from 2hr delay -> snow day. No school = extra time to start on that goddamn book report due the next day.

I love the snow and cold. It's the damn summer heat I can't stand.

I only wish I could afford a ski pass + gas this year. alas...:(
