Ok, got like 10" here in MI, and I have an exceptionally long driveway and here's my adventure.

I got stuck like countless times in my little Cobalt, but managed it somehow, though it took forever.

I was all like

So lemme get this straight. You live in MI, where it snows all the time, and you have a really long driveway, no 4WD car, and no way to plow your driveway?

Fail.

Why don't you buy a 4 wheeler or a small tractor that you can attach a plow or blower onto?

See, I had a tractor, but sold due to me being in poverty and my house in foreclosure lolcake.

I have the same situation at my house. You just get a running start so it's out of the way of the plows throwing stuff on it and park. Walk to house. That only takes 5 minutes tops. Why would you waste 30 minutes? It's like those idiots at the mall who will drive around for 30 minutes looking for a spot close to the door when they could've parked further away and gotten inside in 5. Man up.

When I read your thread topic first thing I thought of was this:

Yeah I know, manure =/= snow, but...

I love the snow, but for me it's a bit different. I live in California where I drive to the mountains to enjoy a weekend of skiing and fun, and don't have to shovel the stuff.
