don't hate the snow. feel sorry for yourself for not getting a car with AWD.

I never have to shovel my way out yet.

:laugh: I grew up in upstate New York. Moved to SoCal when I was in my early 20s. I Believe me, I know what snow is.
 
I remember when i first moved to boston, there was a snow emergancy. I parked my car in a non-snow emergancy artery. Bad idea. It took me 3 hours to dig my car out. I may still have a pic of it somewhere......basiaclly, the reason why there was space there is b/c peoeple in that area new that is where the trucks would dump there snow.

Ahh... snow... plenty of it here in ALaska! I drive a 4x4 here, but I also had a pair of Miatas for five years and drove them year-round and didn't get stuck once, except the day it snowed 39 inches in 18 hours.

At least you un-stucked yourself! if it happens again... keep a towstrap in your car, hook one end to a secure place and offer the other end to passing cars. Someone will get the hint and give you a tow.

people who think they know anything are funny.

my driveway is about 100 yards or more long (the length of a football field or so).
no way in hell am i going to shovel that.
