I hate shaving

I shave daily. The more often you shave, the easier it is. Use hot water, a hot towel, a clean sharp razor, and good soap/shaving cream. Shave with the grain (down) to avoid irritation. No big deal.

I used to hate it until I changed my routine. Now I shave right after the shower. Fill up the sink with some hot water to keep the steam on your face. Wash your face with some hot water, put some shaving gel on (I like the Gillette Fusion Gel), and then go to town with a decent quality razor (I use Schick Quattro). Rinse with cool water when you are done to close your pores.

I already miss college. I miss not having to shave for weeks at a time. I miss having a scruffy face. Now I shave every morning and it's a PITA.

you will get over that stage 🙂

i shave like 3 times a week. With a straight edge, you can easily go 2 days 🙂

I used to shave everyday or every other day up until a couple years ago. It's annoying, I'm lazy, and I like the scruffy look better (makes me look a little older at least). I shave once or twice a week with a cheap beard trimmer but I need a better one, this freakin thing takes forever and that's part of the reason I dislike shaving.

Pic even!

I shave my beard edges and neck once a week, 30 seconds, and trim with an electric trimmer twice a month. It frees up more time for tieing my shoes. Anybody who would have issues with a neatly trimmed beard is a relic I wouldn't want to work for anyway.

i hate shaving I shave monday's wednesday's and friday's I shud shave everyday given that I grow so much frickin hair if I dont shave for a month I will prolly end up looking like one of the zz-top guys except that my beard will be black in colour

I hate shaving too.

I figured out the solution to shaving about 11 years ago when I was 16. I grew a mustache and beard.
Now I just trim the mustache when it gets so long that it bothers me when I eat.
I trim the beard every few weeks.

Nads ftw.

When I'm not working or needing to look super-fine I only shave every 3-4 days or so. Hate teh shaving.

Speaking of shaving, I think I'll shave my head today.

maybe I'm blessed/cursed without much facial hair, so I've always used an electric razor. It rarely irritates my skin, unless I go over the same place 4 or 5 times.

I hate to shave, that is reason why I do it in two steps. First, at night I shave using an electric razor and in the morning I shave using a regular razor; all this twice a week or whenever I need to impress someone.

I generally have to shave daily, and I hate it as well...mostly for the inconvenience. I've found that shaving immediately after a shower results in the least irritation, although I'll generally try to take one or two days per week away from the razor to give my face some time to recover.

My gosh people...have you ever considered that if you hate shaving because it hurts so much that maybe its because you're doing it wrong? Not that you wouldn't know better: its just that most of us have neither been taught properly (by our father or whomever) nor thought much about the technology, other than to get suckered into "the man's" way of doing it with razors with 27-blades and canned goo that does more harm than good. Take a few minutes extra time to do it properly and turn a painful chore into a pleasant experience. Or continue whining.

I haven't worked up to a cutthroat yet...I've been happy with my DE safety razor thus far.

The old school way is the only way:

1) Open up your pores by taking a hot shower or placing hot towel on your face.
2) Apply pre-shave oil.
3) Apply a good shaving cream with a badger brush.
4) Use sharp razor with grain and with little pressure.
5) Wash face off with cold water.
6) Apply a soothing aftershave (nothing with alcohol that stings!!!)
7) Have sexy smooth skin without knicks and burns ftw!
