I hate shaving

I shave pretty much every day. I do it at the end of my shower when the hot water has had time to open my pores. I use a new disposable razor every time. Shave with the grain first then go back over against the grain. My face comes out smooth. My wife digs it, so I do it for her and because every damn loser out there has a goatee.

I only grow hair around my mouth, my cheeks and neck just have a silly hair here and there. So I need shave, althought I usually shave every 4-5 days just because I hate it so much. Ive leaner thought that dipping your face into hot water for a min or so make a world of difference.

Electric razor instead?

I don't care for regular razors either. 1) My skin is really, well, delicate, and I have a low pain treshold. 2) Razor + acne = bad news.

i use a combination of both electric and regular razors. electric doesn't get close enough or doesn't get everything so i go over it with the regular razor.

sometimes i just use the regular razor if i'm in a hurry.

On another note I hate showering, I hate combing my hair up everyday, oh and did I mention that I hate cleaning up after I go #2, I mean really, I mean really, why do we have to do all of that ...

If you can get away with it. Buy a beard trimmer and trim on the lowest setting possible. It will get you down to a few days worth of growth, which may or not be acceptable for you.

Going from shaving to trimming nearly eliminated my acne.

Shaving for me is ALWAYS a nightmare. Either I don't get completely close by only shaving with the grain. Or I go against it after the first run and hack the sh!t out of my face.

My rant for today is shaving. It is so annoying I hate doing it, and every time I shave my skin stings like a mother f and becomes all red and itchy, then it dries up I feel like Im getting a face lift. I shave every 2-3 days. My mom told me today I should shave every day because I look savage, but I don't care. What do you guys think? Does one look physically repelling at the workplace if one does not shave?

I shave about every 2 months or so, with intermittant beard-trimmer touch-ups so I don't look too shady. Works fine.

I whip out the clippers every now and then and give my face a no-guard (0) cut because I loathe shaving. It works for me...

I've been out of the Navy for about 8 months now, and I'm so fvcking glad that I don't have to shave or get a hair cut. It's nice getting one when I want to, not when I "have" to. Speaking of which, I do need to shave sometime though--it's been about 3 weeks or so now.

I just quit shaving. I work for a school district now, and people here have beards, so finally I get to have one. I shaved every day religiously due to being in the air force, and my neck and face always hurt.

I shave after a hot shower, and with the grain first, then against the grain when there isnt much hair left for tugging. For me, when the hair is pretty short, it wont tug, if its longer, it tugs like a mofo and hurts likewise.

I trim down with clippers first.

Use a beard trimmer on the lowest setting (but with a guard) instead. You might look a little scruffy, but not too bad. I do this, not because I'm trying to grow any facial hair, but because it's much quicker and less irritating than shaving.

You can get a decent trimmer for 10-15 bucks on Amazon.com. Not sure exactly what model I have, but I could look when I get home. Wahl I think.

I'm not fond of it, but it's not too bad. Keep a steady schedule, ue a good creme (I like the gel stuff) and a new, disposable razor each time.

I shave my face and my head (Vin Diesel look ftw) about 2 times a week. Usually saturday night, and wednesday morning. If I'm in a hurry, I won't do my head, but then I have to use the clippers, and it takes a while + 3 razors to get done.

Ya my gf likes the clean fresh smooth shave, she says if Im not clean shaven it tickles her and pokes her every time my face makes contact with her.

But ya I agree girls with shaved legs ftw, but I actually don't mind the arm pits, it's kind of cute if there is just a prickle of hair poking out there. And down there a slighty furry patch is alright nicely trimmed 😉

If you shave correctly and use a sharp blade its not bad. The whole key is wash to your face before and to use face lotion immediately after you are done.

Stop headbutting her, you brute.

honestly........I recommend using a Safety Razor

buy the kit, use the best "soap" you can buy....and I also recommend THIS

Apply that cream before you apply shaving cream or the soap. Shave. Then apply again and rinse.

Its all about the razor you use and prepping your hairs to shave. After using the safety razor for a couple of weeks ingrown hairs are a thing of the past and my skin actually feels better. Plus after the initial cost.......its pretty cheap.

Also do all this after taking a shower, when your facial hair is saturated with water.

i first shave with then grain then i shave with it
i use to use this shaving creame they sell at Trader Joes that is AWESOME but now i use one that is sold at Sephora but it is for men and it is the best creame i have ever used! I also use a gilette fusion power blade and a braun $150 electric razor afterwards. With allt his i get a good close shave, but i STILL hate it!
