I hate shaving

My rant for today is shaving. It is so annoying I hate doing it, and every time I shave my skin stings like a mother f and becomes all red and itchy, then it dries up I feel like Im getting a face lift. I shave every 2-3 days. My mom told me today I should shave every day because I look savage, but I don't care. What do you guys think? Does one look physically repelling at the workplace if one does not shave?

I'm a once/twice a week guy, with minor touchups every 2-3 days. I'm rarely fully clean-shaven. And I try and do most of it in the shower.

I already miss college. I miss not having to shave for weeks at a time. I miss having a scruffy face. Now I shave every morning and it's a PITA.

Seriously shaving is only good when you go to those old school barber shops and they do it for you with that hot shaving cream and the razor. Now I go to this spanish guy but he only does my sideburns with the razor, doesnt even shave me, wtf. Can I just wax my face so I don't have to shave for 2 weeks or so?

I stopped shaving almost two years ago. I'll just use a beard trimmer without a guard every now and then. Chicks seem to dig the scruffy look if you do it right. Plus, when I shave I look 16 years old (I'm 30).

Actually, I had to shave the other day for this filming thing (turns out later that I didn't really need to, that they actually preferred slight facial hair for these scenes, but it was too late) and I could not STAND the look or feel of it. It drove me nuts.

I work in a professional setting and never shave :D I trim twice a week and shave the neck once a week. I got tired of shaving all the time.

I have to shave daily, and if I need to look good I'll shave again in the evening because of my 5 o'clock shadow.

The good news is that if you keep at it, your skin will become accustomed to it.

Make sure to use a good razor and change it frequently.

The unshaven look works until you're about 21. After that, unless you want a career at McDonalds, learn to shave and do it often.

I also discovered early on that girls like well-groomed men better than the terrorist look.

p.s., I hate shaving too, but I have to do it. I'm sure women hate shaving their legs but I wouldn't go near a woman that doesn't shave their legs, pits, and trim up the area.

I used to hate shaving, anymore I don't mind it and sometimes actually enjoy it. I switched to the "old school" method of shaving...badger brush, good cream, & safety razor.

I guess I'm lucky. I'll look clean-shaven for about 3 days. :)

The only downside is that I can't grow a full beard. :(

Electric razor instead?

I don't care for regular razors either. 1) My skin is really, well, delicate, and I have a low pain treshold. 2) Razor + acne = bad news.
