I hate selling computers to morons *Updated*

I say we get all the members of the forum together and create a basic knowledge test that ALL computer companies must make mandatory. If you don't pass the test, no computer for you. And make the results public (like driving records or court records or credit history or anything of the sort).

ell support is very hard to get a hold of in india. They do not do
their justice. this Computer does not have quality parts but parts that
fail. You would not have had go the extra mile if you sent me a good
computer with cds in the first place and it was also put on by you to
install drivers So I find this strange.

the guy mention somethen about you that suppose to install the drivers? in his 1st or 2nd email didnt he mention, he did a fresh install of windows?

Yes, he did a fresh install of Windows.

I tested the machine before even listing it on ebay because I added the GTX and replaced the memory.

Message from fellow Ebay Power Seller in the thread I have going on in the Power Seller forums...

Your In Tn hun, that is a felony act, You have every legal right not to refund, a chargeback is like writing a bad check or on a closed account in TN and it is really easy to issue a warrant for arrest. In TN if you buy from this state you automticly a customer internet or not is bound to the TN laws... first print that dispute showing buyer is filing a chargeback add only to it what you need to, send that buyer a certified letter legaly you only need to give them 24 hours to reverse that chargeback in TN, being nice you can give 5-7 or 10 days to your favor you should use 7 or 10 days make sure it is return reciept..In the state of TN you must make contact by proof only sure way is certified mail, document phone calls and messages you left for them to contact you. If they have not responded or reversed it take your fedex proof of shipment and everything else including your reciept of sending a certified letter demanding payment..(you should have the orginal sign both but mark copy on the one you send) next is if where the item was shipped from is county you go to the sherrif if city go to the police you can issue a warrant for arrest for theft of goods and you can also hit them with reversing funds which is a felony in itself.. really simple to do just needs a little time..make sure your letter states that they filed a chargeback on you and have your goods and that they need to make good on payment and that if it not rectified within (xxdays) you will Use any means necessary to collect the debt inaccordance with TN laws. I have a legal Tn statement at work you can use just email me I will send it over monday, In TN you have to watch your wording.. if your PP dispute falls through the tubes in there favor, and even if you havent filed a warrant yet...here is option 2 or your next step..this must be done at the local sheriffs office. Take your closed PP dispute in their favor(god forbid) and make sure you take your ownership proof(how it became yours) the fed ex reciept showing they got it.. the sherriff will issue a warrant to sieze goods(now iknow you do not want it back because they can modify it but they surely do not need both) here is the grand part if they do not turn it over right to jail you go until you either pay debt or give property back in same condition if you can prove it was modified a theft warrant is issued.. Use the TN laws hun I have seized goods out of ohio not laying a foot in that state this way..No one is going to take advantage of me just because they think they can because it is an internet deal or that I am just a weee little person...Also in Tn you may call and record your conversations without telling them..In our law if one pary of the conversation feels it should be recorded you can even if that person is you..

I would start becoming paranoid about this. I smell this as someone trying to scam you out of the Dell AND the refund you might've sent it his way. I've become wary of selling anything on Ebay, because the system is way too easy for abuse.

I have news for you: this is how all the kids write now. It's a combination of text speak, inadequate schooling, and cluelessness. 😉

In about 25 years it will be accepted and proper english, and nobody will ever spell out "you are" again.
