I hate racing games that make me drive on the right hand side

Come on man, give me the option to switch. I been driving almost 20 years on the left hand side my brain doesn't like this change. Keep running into stuff and spinning out! #shift2unleashed

It's not hard to drive on either side. 🙂
I lived in the US for many years and now back in South Africa so I guess the experience helped a lot.
I do understand wanting the option in games though.
I wonder how hard it would be to add that feature.

Then don't drive them. Or play arcade racers that only have bumper views. Or, challenge yourself to do it right. Go drive a mail truck in real life.

Plenty of options.

I cannot shift with my left hand. I couldn't get used to it. In a game though since I don't have to physically shift it doesn't matter to me.

Should have titled the thread "I hate it when the steering wheel is at the passenger seat" to avoid confusing the first few people that replied.

Another classic futurefields thread 😎

Agreed. Only 3rd world countries drive left. Gotta drive right.

(And for those too stupid to know it, the above was said in sarcasm).

Calling some members here stupid is not a smart move and below your level.

FYI I knew you were joking but was trying to teach you something about real facts.

Getting back on topic I do find driving on left hand side(wheel wise) hard as well sometimes, so works both ways when you think games are made for everyone but restrict you to one side.

Would you like to tell me to get off your lawn now? It was a joke. Personally, I think you thought I was serious (as per your response to my original post) and now you're trying to back track. Either way, it's not worth getting into a long drawn out argument over.

I didn't have much trouble driving in the UK. IMO, it was actually more awkward being a pedestrian. Traffic was flowing completely differently, so crossing the road made me do a double-take a few times.

It's a good challenge 😀
I had a R32 GTR here in Canada so I did end up doing it in real life...thank goodness I played so much GT on PS3 lol 😛
