I hate R Lee Erney

I absolutely hate that man. And no you can't have my "man card" because I don't R Lee Erney or Orange County Choppers or metal music or any of that other crap to back it up. Who's with me?

I think he's a great guy. OCC, on the other hand, are a bunch of whiny little bitches who build bikes like old ladies decorate Xmas trees.

I like some metal music, and some sucks.

Why?

Worst rant ever.

That guy was a Marine in Vietnam. He could snap most people here (myself included) in half like a twig.

He's a retired marine. He's earned his badass attitude.

I have to admit in Full Metal Jacket he was QUITE convincing. Wasnt he a real DI at one time?

I would have been scare sh1tless of him.

Are you quitting on me? Well, are you? Then quit, you slimy fvcking walrus-looking piece of sh!t. Get the fvck off of my obstacle. Get the fvck down off of my obstacle. Now. Move it. I'm going to rip your balls off, so you cannot contaminate the rest of the world. I will motivate you, Private Pyle, if it short-dicks every cannibal on the Congo.

A Vietnam vet and former Marine drill instructer *trying* to be a badass? I think he is a card carrying official badass. Not to mention he also makes on entertaining as hell show.

My grandfather was in the FBI, a marine, on Iwo Jima, and a drill seargant for 1 year after the war, and went on the be a director at more than 1 fortune 500 company.
Somehow he is an intelligent, articulate, and loving role model to me and doesn't come off like a jingoistic airhead actor.

I think a lot of it is acting for the sake of the TV show...for some of us, it makes it more entertaining.

What does that have to do with an "actor" playing a role?

What does that have to do with an "actor" playing a role?

The fact that people idolize this guy as the embodiment of the male persona.

So your mad at his fans?

I'm sure your grandfather said and did things during his stint in the service(especially being a drill instructor) that were pretty close to what Mr. Ermey has done on film. Pappy played the role too, Ermey just made some money doing it. Don't hate grandpa's fans too, they are probably some of your close family.
