PSP fills a purpose, but a lot of other products can fill this purpose too and they do so in a better manner.
prove that the iPod "does it in a better manner" than the PSP. prove to me that the listening experience in your HEADPHONES is somehow enhanced because it is connected to an iPod instead of a PSP. thats right, your arguement is pure crap. i said it, and everyone else is thinking it.
Well I'm sure if you have read Consumer Reports, the iPod has close to the best sound quality out there. I guess many of us aren't audiophiles. I'm not one although I'm quite sensitive to sound quality. I guess this is the same reason why we get good sound cards right? I'm not saying the iPod enhances my headphones. I'm saying that you can get 20GB of music out of it while with the PSP you can only get who knows how much, and that gap wont close for a while. I'm sure my listening experience would be somewhat better if I can choose from more songs that I like rather than a smaller collection.
Maybe the PSP does give better sound quality, I wouldn't know. But it's not marketed as an MP3 player is it? You won't see it at Best Buy right next ot the iPod or the Zen or the Dell DJ. And if you bought a PSP solely for MP3s you would be quite foolish.
ha...audophiles? Find me an audiophile that accepts MP3 quality.
Oh wait...that further plays into my Discman argument, because CD's sound considerably better than MP3's.
I win again....bwuahaha
iPod supports Apple Lossless. I'm just saying that you have more options w/ ipod IF you are an audiophile.
