You can't trust your neighbors
Certainly my boss must be cheating me out of my money
While I work hard for my money, some other a-hole is getting rich
Someone always takes all my good ideas
You can't make any money in this town
If I make any money, the government is gonna find a way to get it
I have to sleep with one eye open at night, for surely, the neighbor's cat is leaping thru the window and stealing from me
I will have to wear rubber insulated clothes tomorrow to work, so I don't get killed by lightning
My bank account got robbed by the IRS
My car has bald tires and expired tags...but those son-of-a-bitches gave me defective equipment and the state must have figured my due date wrong
My checks bounce because the bank can't seem to get the accounting right
I got fired, but it was because of my idiot boss
The electricity got shut off.
Someone keyed my car, but I can't understand why 😉


Now, we are expecting our 8th child, but welfare doesn't wanna increase our food stamp allocation

We have an eviction notice, how dare them!

I can't seem to get along with anyone I know.

Damn them all.


Know anyone like this? We all do. Think it's that they are just plain unlucky, or is it their outlook or attitude?

I think we create our own results in life and our attitudes definitely determine the outcome. 😀

So true. So very true. As a matter of fact, I have a client at the moment that is giving me some trouble. Actually, she's a person that I've known for about the last 5-6 years and have done work for both professionally in the corporation that I used to work for and now in her home with my business. I see her constantly burn bridges with those around her. She has very few friends - if any.

Also, one thing stuck in my mind that she said a few months back. She had a nosey neighbor, but she didn't care to talk or associate with her, so she threatened her with a restraining order. I mean, WTF? Certainly, the lady wasn't a stalker, just a neighbor who wanted to talk and then she gets slammed by this lady. Grrrrr ....

And for the record, I don't hate. I just observe what we all see in life and wonder how so many people live this way, but yet the answer to the problem just takes a simple mirror test. Sometimes right there, is where they will see their biggest enemy...looking right back at them. 😉

Ok, apparently you have resigned to it. Frankly, why does capitalism have anything to do with it? Would socialism, communism, or something else be more enriching, in your opinion?

explotation of labor force is more intense under capitalism THEORETICALLY. obviously, in reality it doesnt always works that way...

edit: on a side note, i think capitalism is the most efficent system and thus i support it more than the alternatives

Now that was capitalism! Too bad I went broke doing it, because I loved it more than life! 😀 Now I sit in a cubicle and answer phones. Actually life is very good. I have no complaints, except, I think the government is scheming against me. 😉 :0
