I agree with a few other posters in that I don't care so much if someone doesn't use a blinker in a turn lane. In that case, it's more to help the people traveling in the opposite direction, as they may or may not be paying attention to the fact that you're in a turn-only lane, and might instead think you're going straight.
But not using a blinker to signal a lane change is definitely a pet peeve of mine. It takes essentially no effort to do, and despite what you may think in terms of the world revolving around your particular vehicle, I might not necessarily know ahead of time that you're going to be moving into the lane next to me just as I'm doing the same. It's even worse if someone cuts you off and begins traveling at a substantially slower speed than you...all without using a turn signal.
