Here is a quick clue for you, Doctors know only 1/100th as much as they think they do. They have a little more schooling than the average person and unless they see what you have every day they aren't going to know what it is. I was diagnosed with Pseudo Tumor Cerebri after having the equivalent of a migraine headache for over 3 months straight, there were a couple points that if they hadn't given me narcotic pain killers I would have commited suicide. To get that diagnosis I had to go to 2 ENT's, my GP, an Opthomoligist, the ER and an Opto/Neurologist. They only reason I probably even got diagnosed correctly is I started to go blind and the Hospital I went to the emergency room at had two of a dozen doctors (nationwide) that have experience with Psuedo Tumor.

So buck up cowboy, it could be ALOT worse.
