I hate ordering stuff from the US

I went to buy a DVD on half.com from a US seller. DVD was 3.99, final price shipped to Canada turned out to be 20.36

$CAD 5.51
Media Mail: $CAD 3.23
Subtotal: $CAD 8.74


TOTAL:
Total US Shipping $CAD 3.23
Total Canadian S&H $CAD 10.65
Duties & Taxes $CAD 0.97

$CAD 20.36

Anyone know why they are charging me for shipping three times? Media mail, US shipping and Canadian shipping, that doesn't make sense
