I keep squeezing it and squeezing it accidentally on the sides and that makes it go back and forward constantly. It so dang sensitive. I miss my old mouse, I could just abuse the heck out of that thing and it would just take it like a champ.

Oh dude that's a great mouse! Tried lowering the sensitivity? You'll get used to it, just keep working with it.

The damn side buttons are killing me. They are placed RIGHT where I normally rest my thumb and ring finger.

Can't you just turn them off?

I want to use the side buttons, but I just don't like their location.

Some microsoft wireless mouse work gives us. I hate laptop mice. That's why I love my MX500/510 at home. I want a grip made for larger hands. Hell my hands aren't even that big (medium/large glove size), but I swear laptop mice = 12.1" laptop keyboards or netbook keyboards. They're designed to give you carpal tunnel or something. People should sue for these things.

The Vx mice are very nice. I love that perpetual motion machine style mouse wheel.

i had the same issue. i got a swiss army laser mouse with back and forward (non programmable) buttons on it, but the buttons are above where my thumb rests. much happier now. shorter battery life, but oh well, ill deal with that... my work pays for the batteries.

edit:

swiss gear, not army lol

The MX 1100 is a great mouse in every way except for that stupid button on the lower left side. I had to shut it off when playing FPSs because it always kicked me out of the game (and I never used it anyway).

The wireless wave keyboard rocks too.

Wireless Keyboard/Mouse Kit I got for $15 After Rebate a lifetime ago and never opened. My parent's keyboard/mouse crapped out so I delivered them my old ones and finally cracked this sucker open.

Adapt man, as soon as you are no longer able to adapt you are OLD!. That being said I have used that mouse and like it. I did have to adapt to the side buttons though, not a big deal now.

Why do I have to adapt? They should make the damn mouse like they used to make! AND THOSE DAMN KIDS NEED TO GET OFF MY LAWN!!!
